Since 2004 ECCo has supported the work of Centro Hispano\u2019s Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a team of three bilingual Care Coordinators whose lived experiences have enabled them to help our community extend much needed welcome and connections for new arrivals to our schools and workforce.&nbsp; These Bilingual Care Coordinators and Licensed Clinical Social Worker provide parenting education, access to resources, and trauma informed therapy to about 130 Spanish speaking families that are pregnant or parenting young children. Reading together facilitates a conversation about what we experience together in the stories we share. This prescription \u2013 curiosity, creativity, and conversation \u2013 teaches our children to heal from the pain of disconnection. Needs include places where Doulas and Care Coordinators meet with families as well as offices for our Executive Director and Data Administrator.
